CAD Data Translation and Migration

In today's multi-CAD engineering environments, Translating CAD into a format you can use is important. We have experience translating 3D solids, fully Parametric Models, and 2D drawings. We can help you get CAD data translated between NX, JT, Solid Edge, Catia V5, Solid Works, Pro-E, AutoCAD, and the common formats of IGES, STEP and Parasolids.

Training

Training is the essence to get your team running fast, effectively and producing quality results. We offer training programs for our software and all our Solutions packages. In all our standard training offerings, we target 20% of the course working with your parts and tools. Making sure applications to your specific industry is addressed and your team can start working immediately.

Staffing

If you are looking for short term manpower solution, or looking for long term engineering specialists, we can support your team with qualified personnel, already trained and ready to go. We can send in resource required to help you with a project for as few as 4 hours, or take full responsibility.

Technology Transfers

For many companies being introduced to new technologies, Geometric Solutions will complete a project, then after the completion, a Technology Transfer phase begins where we will work together using the project to demonstrate how to use the tools in the future. Typically, 1-2 of your engineers will be taught how to use the software to update this specific project. This "Transfer of Technology" will allow your team to learn from experts, while quickly getting results.

IT Support

Many of these software tools are complex and difficult to configure and install. We have experienced IT staff that can install and configure systems to meet your needs.


Software Support and Tech Support Hotline

Geometric Solutions uses state of the art tools to ensure our customers’ questions are answered fully. As needed, Tech Support will initiate an over the Web Appshare to demonstrate and/or “take control” of the customer’s computer to help fix a modeling problem or any other software issue.
